Miami Beach Pop Festival Canceled

One of the more exciting new festivals of 2019, the Miami Beach Pop Festival, scheduled for November 8-10, has announced its postponement due to unforeseen circumstances. At present, the producers of the festival are working with all involved parties to secure a new date and have advised those interested in attending that the lineup will change as rescheduling performers proves to be a tall order. Joe Iadanza is in many ways just a regular guy. Now in his late 40s, he’s a divorced father of one, and that one daughter is a freshman at Vassar. But for as much as he insists he’s just a common man, the truth is he’s also a very talented songwriter. The appropriately titled Common Man is his first album in over a decade and arguably the best album of his career. Concert Review: Rock and Roll Express Tour – 7.7.18 – Daily’s Place – Jacksonville, FL

As hordes of critics and insers talk ad nauseum about the the death of rock and roll, thousands of fans still clamor for the visceral experience that is a live rock concert. With that as a guiding principle, the Rock & Roll Express Tour kicked off this past weekend, featuring a stop at Jacksonville’s new swanky amphitheater Daily’s Place. The tour features a co-headline by Mississippi chart-toppers 3 Doors Down and 90s chart-toppers and Georgia boys Collective Soul. Another 90s heavyweight, Minneapolis’ Soul Asylum opened the show. And now for the best part: none of the three failed to show up. In fact, from start to finish, it was a blistering, loud and thunderous evening of some truly first-rate rock n’ roll. Read more…
