Diplo Goes Country (With Help from CAM)

Posted by Greg on May 24, 2019 in Music

We might be suckers for pop music, but EDM, well that’s a different story. Funnily enough, one of EDM’s biggest names is about to embark on something completely different. Thomas Pentz Jr, more commonly known as Diplo, has recently released a country project using the moniker Thomas Wesley.

The lead single from that album is “So Long” featuring vocals from Grammy-nominated country chanteuse CAM. Consistently one of our favorite artists over the past few years, CAM continues to astound us at every turn. From start to finish “So Long” is tender, aching and downright perfect.

We may not like Diplo, but we sure do like Thomas Wesley.

Enter Benji & Rita, the debut album from the married duo of New York-based composer Benji Kaplan and Brazilian singer/songwriter Rita Figuerido. Read more…
