Miami Beach Pop Festival Canceled
One of the more exciting new festivals of 2019, the Miami Beach Pop Festival, scheduled for November 8-10, has announced its postponement due to unforeseen circumstances. At present, the producers of the festival are working with all involved parties to secure a new date and have advised those interested in attending that the lineup will change as rescheduling performers proves to be a tall order.
Tickets holders can expect to see refunds within seven business days, effective Oct. 8. All other ticket holders should reach out to their point of purchase for refunds. The postponement marks the end of a three-year journey for the event’s producers Frameless Creative, Act Productions and The Parker Company as well as the City of Miami Beach. Headliners scheduled to appear included: Chance the Rapper, Jack Johnson, Daddy Yankee, Kygo, Leon Bridges, The Roots, Maggie Rogers, T-Pain, Sean Paul, Nile Rodgers and more.
The event was also primed to place a heavy emphasis on sustainability and featured partnerships with the likes of Friends of the Everglades, Frost Science Museum, Mermaid Straw, #Unlitter, Oceanic Global, Plastic Free Miami Beach, Rescue a Reef, Shark Research and Conservation, Stream2Sea, Surfrider, The Cleo Institute, The Sink or Swim Project, Youth Making Ripples and Volunteer Cleanup.
