Caamp Celebrates Big Week
One of the biggest successes of 2019 has been the emergence of Columbus, OH band Caamp. This week the band celebrated two milestones. The first involves current single “Peach Fuzz” standing atop the charts at Triple A radio and last night they made their TV debut, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Upon release of the band’s debut By and By (Mom + Pop Records) it entered the Billboard Top 200, was #1 on the Heatseeker and New Artist Alternative Album charts and have amassed 411 million combined streams to date.
Much of the band’s momentum has stemmed from its appearances at various festivals, including but not limited to: Firefly, Shaky Knees, Forecastle, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits and Great Escape. Last month the band kicked off a headlining tour and that tour extends through New Year’s Eve. Of the 29 remaining tour dates, 24 of them are sold out.
