We’re always on the lookout for an artist that is just under the radar. Someone ready to make a big splash. Someone on the precipice of something truly great. Enter New York singer-songwriter Simone. At just 16, she sounds wise beyond her years and precocious enough to take the alt-pop world by storm. Her first single “Kissing Strangers” is a surefire pop smash while her latest single “Boy Of My Dreams” might be even better. On the surface it sounds like Taylor Swift circa “Love Story” but it has more of a New York vibe and even chases after ethereal, cinematic elements in the latter half. This is doe-eyed, gooey, Starbucks gold that most certainly signals a bright future ahead.

A thespian at heart, Simon first got her start appearing in musicals as early as age 10. From there she found herself in Nashville performing open mics and ultimately found herself in New York. Once in New York she took to social media, amassing 221k TikTok followers. Her upcoming EP Love Lessons is due later this summer and we are beyond stoked for its release into the world. In addition to her music career she also hosts a weekly podcast called Is This Thing On?

As a music fan there is nothing better than hearing an artist before they hit their zenith. Everything about Simone points to those titanic heights. Get in on the ground floor, friends. This is an artist darn near ready to peak. And trust us, you’ll be grateful you heard her first.
